An Annual Award Distribution Ceremony was held on December 19, 2009 at St. Anthony's High School. The Chief Guest of the ceremony were Mr. & Mrs. Ali Raza Khan. Mr. Ali Raza Khan is the Chief Executive Officer of Youth Engagament Services (YES) Network Pakistan. The ceremony was also attended by notable sisters, Father Francs and parents of position holders. The ceremony started with the spectacular performance from the school band. The children presented various stage plays and dances which depicted the rich culture of our country. Christmas songs and dramas were also presented during the ceremony. Certificates were distributed among position holders and the students which remained punctual throughout the year. The performance of the children were highly appreciated by the guests and parents. The Principal of the school, Sr. Nilanthi presented the accomplishments of the school during the year 2009. She praised the teachers, parents and students for their hard work. She also praised YES Network Pakistan for their contribution in building the capacity of the teachers as well as starting innovative Service Learning and ICT Programs at the school. The Chief Guest, Mr. Ali Raza Khan congratulated the students and greatly admired the sincere service of the sisters to humanity. He said that is is high time to acknowledge and recognize the contributions of Catholic Board and especially of sisters who have dedicated their lives for service to others. He said that sisters are our unsung heroines. After the ceremony, the guests were entertained with refreshment.
